Heart
From your slightly pointy chin, your face widens gradually up to your slightly wider cheekbones, and forehead. Since your face is trimming towards your chin, you want to select a frame that won’t accentuate face lines down towards your chin. Maybe try a narrower frame not too pointy towards the bottom...for example Tomahawk Mk2
Oval
You have a long, narrow face and the bottom, cheekbones and top of your face are well balanced...Luck you! To visually offset the length of your face, choose a frame that covers as much space between your eye and bottom of your nose – this is sometimes called a deep frame. Deep frames are easily spotted as the bridge look high...for example, Venom Mk2.
Not you? Try Heart , Triangle, Round , Square.
Triangle
Triangle is the opposite face shape to heart! The triangle shaped face is more narrow at the forehead and wider at your cheeks and jawline. If you have this shaped face, you should highlight your forehead to create the illusion of width. In order to draw more attention to the top of your face, and less from your chin, try a top-heavy frame...for example, Hunter or Venom Mk3.
Square
Square is similar to an oval face. Where your face differs to an Oval shape is that you have, you guessed it, a square shaped jaw line. You have angular features and an equally wide forehead, cheekbones and jaw line. Choose a frame that is slightly wider than your cheekbones and soften your angular features with rounder frames.
Not you? Try Heart , Oval , Triangle , Round.
If you are unsure of the types of shapes that you might like to try, here are some general rules for matching designs with facial features. Myself, I like to break the rules...
